Karen & Chris’ Pre-Destination Wedding Intimate Ceremony

I had the opportunity to be the photographer for this extremely intimate ceremony. Karen and Chris invited both of their families and close friends to a small ceremony held in their house. The event was graced by the little paws of Teddy. Their adorable dog ran around and even decided to take a break on Karen’s wedding dress during the ceremony. Here is a couple photos from their ceremony. This was the second wedding I’ve shot as a photographer and I’m getting much more used to it. I think I’m ready to shoot a full day, we’ll see how that goes. It’s super fun but just as challenging as shooting cinema but the editing is soooooooooo much easier! Enjoy!

Officially Now Accepting Bitcoins

bitcoin

Kadams Media is now officially accepting payment in the form of bitcoin.  You may be asking why we are doing this.  You may even be asking yourself, “what is a bitcoin?”  Let me help you understand both:

We’ve decided to start accepting bitcoin in order to tap into the exciting new e commerce market. People buying and selling bitcoins are exactly the type of client we want to work with. Accepting bitcoins also allows us to bypass the fees of banks and other transactional businesses like Paypal. We accept the money and get all of it, nothing taken during the transfer.

For example if we were to sell a $5,000 wedding to a couple and the current exchange rate for bitcoins (coinbase/bitstamp) was $500, we would accept 10 bitcoins as payment. It’s as simple as that! Interested in learning more about getting your first bitcoin wallet? Check out: Coinbase.com

It’s simple, quick, progressive and safe. Let us know what you think about this idea!

“SHOOTING THE BRIDE” WEDDING SHOW WEB SERIES

Kickstarter-logo-11

Open Sea Studios, a NYC-based commercial video production company and Kadams Media, a national cinematic wedding filmmaking studio are currently working on a show in development called “Shooting The Bride”.

The show is a docu-style web series for YouTube that follows a team of filmmakers as they shoot, edit and show a same-day-edit during a wedding.  Each episode features a new couple and the details of their wedding from the perspective of the wedding cinema team.  Anyone who enjoys weddings will love this show because it’s almost like a wedding Pinterest feed set in a fun and engaging reality television show structure that follows a team of three characters.  Here is their kickstarter trailer video:

The production is offering a $6,000 wedding film package for free to the pilot couple of the show.  Here is a video explaining who they’re looking for and how to apply:

If this show sounds like something that you’d want to watch please make a contribution using the kickstarter link below.  To apply please email us at kkadamsmedia@gmail.com and tell us a little about yourself and  your wedding.  Thank you for all of your support and for checking out the project!

Shooting for Michael Justin Films – BTS

This summer I had the opportunity to shoot 3rd, 2nd and 1st camera for teams with Michael Justin Films.  Check out this behind the scenes video:

(my favorite part is 1:38)

Michael Justin Porco owns the New York City-based company and shoots weddings and commercial projects all across the East Coast.  He hosted an end-of-the-year party for his shooters.  We hung out at his apartment in the Upper East of Manhattan, ate some food, laughed while watching this video and then ended the night with a hilarious visit to a comedy club.  I even ended up running into an old comedian friend called Neko White who I shot a documentary called One Mic for in NYC years ago.  It was a great year of shooting and a fantastic night to celebrate and remember it all.  I had a blast this year working with Marty, Donnell and Taylor.  Thanks Michael!  Here is one of his videos that I had the joy of helping with in NYC:
